Providence Cottage

Providence Cottage is a charming Victorian mid-terrace cottage, with many of the original features retained, and forms part of a row of four cottages. Perfectly located on the main road through the village of Snettisham, the cottage is close to local amenities and has easy access to pretty countryside walks.

The cottage has a traditional feel with an open fire in the cosy sitting room, and a light and airy open-plan kitchen with dining area, and comfortably accommodates four people. Downstairs there is a family bathroom, and a utility room in what was the old scullery. From a latch door in the kitchen, the boxed-in Victorian staircase leads to the first floor where there are two bedrooms.The master bedroom has a cast-iron double bed, an original fireplace and overlooks the cottage style garden to the rear. The twin bedroom overlooks trees at the front of the property and is ideal for both children and adults.There is a wonderful dog-friendly enclosed garden with pretty planting and seating areas. Children will love the summerhouse, where they will find plenty of garden toys to keep them entertained.

Providence Cottage is a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful beaches and many attractions of North West Norfolk – the RSPB Nature Reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell are close by, the Queen's residence at Sandringham House is only a short drive away and children will enjoy spending a day at Snettisham Park, a working farm on the outskirts of the village.There are two pubs in the village, one is the award-winning gastro pub The Rose and Crown, as well as a shop, tea room and restaurant.

The Orangery

Escape the hustle and bustle of the coast at this peaceful, rural retreat just a short drive away. The orangery, a rather unique place to stay, is set within the grounds of the Grade II listed Snettisham House, just outside the main village of Snettisham. A super little spot for a romantic getaway or equally perfect for a family. In keeping with an Orangery, the cottage has been tastefully decorated encompassing a botanical theme with rooms benefiting from full height sash windows overlooking the south facing garden. With calm neutral colours and cosy textures of beautiful wool throws and sheepskin rugs, you may feel tempted to just stay in and watch a DVD or read during the winter. In summer, you can relax in the secluded garden and enjoy a barbecue and a glass or two of wine! Why not venture along one of the many pretty walks or cycle rides from the cottage and be amazed at the dears grazing so close to this tranquil spot.

The luxurious accommodation for four people is on one level and has a beautifully furnished sitting room with vaulted ceiling – just the place to relax after a busy day exploring the stunning North Norfolk coastline. The kitchen is well equipped, children are looked after with their own crockery, a plentiful toy basket and DVD's, high chair and bed rail (upon request) and enclosed garden with lawn and gravel areas.

Perfectly located to explore the coast either to RSPB Snettisham or a day out on one of the many beaches nearby. If sailing is your passion, then Snettisham has a very active sailing club. Guests can either take a ten minute stroll to the popular Rose & crown gastro pub and village shops or walk to Snettisham Park farm which is just a stone's throw away. A bit further afield is the Queen's residence at Sandringham House – only a ten minute drive away.

The Cottage really is perfect for families, walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, artists or just those wanting to escape to a peaceful retreat.

Lambert Cottage

Lambert Cottage is a wonderful, traditional Carrstone Norfolk cottage and was originally a part of the local shop keeper's cottages.

The cottage has a bright and open-plan feel and would make a perfect romantic getaway; such a lovely place for a couple to watch the amazing sunsets on the local beaches of Snettisham and Heacham.

The village of Snettisham has lots of local amenities with shops, cafes and a great gastro pub, all within easy walking distance of the cottage.

Southvale

Located in a quiet side street in Snettisham, this delightful traditional brick and carrstone Victorian end terrace cottage is a perfect holiday bolt hole for families, couples and friends at any time of the year. Upgraded and refurbished, Southvale has full central heating and is both spacious and comfortable. There are two bedrooms (king-size and twin) and two bathrooms (one is downstairs), a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove to snuggle up to when the nights draw in, a separate dining room and a well-equipped kitchen.

In keeping with a cottage of this age, the stairs are steep, but they are straight and have a handrail. Little ones are well catered for, with travel cot and high chair, and two stairgates provided. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is also an enclosed garden, safe for both to enjoy.

The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather! There is easy access to some wonderful beaches, wonderful birdwatching at Snettisham RSPB, lovely walks and cycling on the Peddars Way, and Sandringham House is just around the corner.
